Speaking of spec miata and pads.... All you spec miata guys... what pads are you typically running? Think they'd hold up to 30min sessions with a car just as light and almost as setup... but with ~twice the HP?
Any of you guys that change pads per weekend... think they have ones left with enough meet for hpde/open day usage? Want to sell them off... or will them on for a fun cause (driving on track = fun cause right?). -Dave On Thu, Jun 5, 2008 at 9:30 AM, Flash. <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > it's a spec miata, what do you think! i replace pads like every other > weekend. > > looks like calipers need to go, i think theyre eating into my lap times. > $150 for half a second is cheap at this stage. > > > On 5/20/08, Chris Yee <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >> >> I could have swore that there's little "W"-shaped spring clips that push >> the pads away from the rotor that originally come on the car, but are >> usually missing after a brake pad change or two.
