OK, I'm tired of searching on this and finding so much information. Anyone
here have a clue what switching to "normal" heat plugs from my current 2 step
cooler plugs will do for gas mileage? I'm looking for a reason why this would
 help.

Heck, I might as well ask about the extended reach (which I currently run)
as well. Any ideas?

This is on a Link'd 1.6 so if timing is affected I can change it. It seems
to me that trying to get better MPG's requires reversing everything I have
done to get more power so normal reach and normal (warmer) plugs would be the
thing to do.

The easiest things would be to back off on the richness in the non-boosted
rows. Try to achieve Lambda, and then go to 0W-40W Mobil 1 on your next
change. You still need the fuel richer when under boost, but you can stay out
of
boost if you want to save fuel. Next best advice? Drive normally but give up
something (like beer, cigs, drugs, or tacos) so you can move the funds to
fuel purchases. Also, if you're a bit on the heavy side, not is an ideal time
to cut back on carbs to lose extra pounds.
