FCM bumpstops will definitely contribute to the problem - they're
intended to increase compression travel. What happens when you get too
much compression travel up front? The tire rubs. Been there, done that.

        His mounts with the old FM springs would just be scary! I can't
imagine that bumpstop would be the issue though. I might call him

                I SOOO hope it's a perch. You really think the FCM 46mm
bumpstops could be an issue?

                        Never had any rubbing problems.  200# rear
springs (Racing Beat "race" fronts in rear position) with 1" bump stops.
I agree with Keith that if the unibody/subframes are not tweaked it
likely is a bump stop or upper perch.
