I can swap the tstat. How is best way to purge air out of the cooling system, or do you just fill on level ground and let the overflow system get the air over time? when i saw the guage climb, I applied the heater on full and then I gave it a quick rev and the needle dropped immediately to normal. this car is my daily driver and i work and go to school. i will haave to "guage" the situation as I apply fixes! ;) > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected]; [email protected] > CC: [email protected] > Subject: RE: Baro sensor needed! > Date: Mon, 14 Feb 2011 07:12:40 -0500 > > And if the coolant is leaking at the fitting for the transmission it means > the radiator is bad. > > Your overheating is likely the thermostat and as Ken said 3/4 is overheated > and you need to fix it now and stop driving it. > > > > > Larry Alster > > 91 Miata White Knight > 92 Miata Silver Bullet > 92 Miata Honey B > 04 MSM MX-5 Whooosh > 06 WRX STi Subie > > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected] > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Ken Bogart > Sent: Monday, February 14, 2011 7:06 AM > To: Brent Ted Johnson > Cc: [email protected] > Subject: Re: Baro sensor needed! > > 3/4 on temp gauge is OVERHEATED. > > It sounds like a significant amount of air in the coolant system.
