Big problem with a BB 'reunion' is that, in the eyes of Joe Q. Public,
they never broke up. Snap quiz - when was the last year without a
Beach Boys show, anywhere ?  Answer - 1960. :-)

I'm realistic enough to realise that a reuniting of Brian with the BB
is more likely to be ho-hum than WOW... but for all that, I'd like to
see it happen, if only for the closure. My impression is that, if you
get Brian away from his wifeandmanagers and in the right atmosphere,
he'd be up for some kind of last go-round.The concept of the 50th (and
surely last major*) anniversary passing without some kinds of group
event is just too sad to contemplate... but given it's two years and
counting, and that this IS The Beach Boys we're talking about - well,
I can see it happening.

* - for the 55th (2016), Mike will be 75, Brian, Alan & Bruce 74.
Assuming they're all still here.
