CR, you've obviously never seen the "How the Beatles Rocked the Kremlin" from PBS (I think), where they go on to say that these same kids would then steal loudspeakers....government propaganda loudspeakers off of telephone poles, to make amplifiers for the stolen telephone pick ups. Sometimes the guitar used to be Grandma's dining room table, or front door. Rock and roll was not simply looked down on. It was forbidden! I need to find this and get you a copy.
