1969 – In a ruse designed to hasten his exit from the group, Bee Gee Robin
Gibb collapses from "nervous exhaustion" just as the group is about to
embark on its first U.S. tour.
1974 – After 23 years, NBC *cancels* Dinah Shore's morning program, Dinah's
