After some searching, the majority of the sites go with the March date
regarding the UK Top 10 in '64.  Also found this...

I'm a bit concerned because they don't know how to use spell check,
but, again, the majority of the sites do favor the March date.  If I
have to choose between March 7 or February 27, I'm going March.
