1956 – Gene Vincent makes his stage debut at the Municipal Auditorium

1986 – Producers of the stage and screen Beatlemania Company lose a
lawsuit brought by Apple Corps, claiming exploitation of the Beatles'
image and their music, and are forced to pay $10 million in fines and
interest.
1986 – The first of six Conspiracy of Hope concerts is held at the Cow
Palace in San Francisco on behalf of Amnesty International. Over the
next 11 days, other concerts will be held in L.A., Denver, Atlanta,
Chicago and New Jersey. The shows are headlined by U2, Sting and Bryan

2004 – Former singer for Brother Beyond and Worlds Apart, Nathan Moore
pleads guilty in Highbury Corner magistrates court to soliciting
sexual favors on May 27 from a woman he thought was a prostitute. He
is fined £250 and ordered to pay £50 court costs.
2011 – Country music star Trace Adkins' Brentwood, Tennessee home
burns to the ground and is a total loss.
2012 – Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee concert takes place outside
Buckingham Palace in London, featuring Elton John, Paul McCartney,
Cliff Richard, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, Madness, Annie Lennox and
many others, to mark the Queen's 60th anniversary.
