I like Dave...but sibling rivalries are what they are. And while I fully
agree with what Dave says....I don't think the dynamic would be the same
between Ray & Brian.....at all. Dave basically says that he & Ray get along
really well.....until Dave (dares to) step out of Ray's preconceived idea
of what Dave's role should be. It seems like you're saying Brian shouldn't
cross a street....because there are cars that might hurt him. And I
personally think that Brian is strong enough to look both ways.

Ever see the photo of Ray & Brian from the Ivor Novello Awards 10 or 12
years ago? Ray (standing) looks proud & happy to be there, Brian (seated)
looks scared.....but it's a pre-BWPS photo, and Brian always looked scared.
I think it's way off base to automatically think Ray is going to bully
Brian. Again - have you read X-Ray (or "Kink" - Dave's autobiography)? Ray
was not a bully as a child, he was a shy, emotionally introverted kid with
a back injury that he thought might leave him a cripple. Dave was the
extroverted bully and fighter, if there was one. I've seen both their solo
shows.....Ray speaks kindly of Dave behind his back, but Dave doesn't speak
kindly of Ray (altho' he said he was allowed to, since it was *his*
brother...but YOU'D better not say anything anti-Ray).

I like the wide range of Crimson material - and Rundgren material, too, for
that matter. I try not to figure in that they are assholes, and just enjoy
the music.
