I think Hans is also working on software autoexposure,
so libv4l is a good target

If it was left to us, we would do everything in kernelspace ;-)

Last time we discussed software autoexposure, I tried your patches
with 627b and got very grainy/noisy  video, so figured,
we can add it, but it must be a module parameter,
or at the very least not enabled by default.

I'll try your new patches again this weekend, is autoexposure working
to your satisfaction?
