I think Hans is also working on software autoexposure, so libv4l is a good target
If it was left to us, we would do everything in kernelspace ;-) Last time we discussed software autoexposure, I tried your patches with 627b and got very grainy/noisy video, so figured, we can add it, but it must be a module parameter, or at the very least not enabled by default. I'll try your new patches again this weekend, is autoexposure working to your satisfaction? -JoJo On Tue, Nov 25, 2008 at 6:11 PM, Vasily Khoruzhick <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > This feature is not image processing (it doesn't touch image bits at all), and > it uses hardware-specific features (i.e. YAVG register of sensor), so I think > it can be included in kernel driver > --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Lets make microdia webcams plug'n play, (currently plug'n pray) To post to this group, send email to [email protected] Visit us online https://groups.google.com/group/microdia -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
