Thanks. I'd tried git clone git://repo.or.cz/r/microdia.git before as suggested elsewhere and had that fail on me pretty nastily as well. Might want to update the download and installation instructions to be clearer about mirrors and the like. The git documentation isn't terribly friendly on why things go wrong. In any case, thanks. git clone git://repo.or.cz/microdia.git works perfectly. I'm running Debian Etch right now, though, which is running 2.6.18. I might need to either upgrade to Lenny or just try to upgrade the kernel to a newer supported version. It returns an error "error: Can't lock ref", and nets me nothing from the repository. There isn't much help on the web (from quick google searches, anyways) to tell me what I'm doing wrong, and there seems to be evidence that it might be a server error. I tried the hello-world set from the git homepage, and that worked well, so I don't think I have a problem with my installation. Anyone have this problem or familiar with a solution? I'd certainly appreciate it. -Steveyou can visithttp://repo.or.cz/w/microdia.git There is an option "snapshot" - clicking on it should give you a tarball of the current version. Since the driver is still in development we advice people to use git since updating is much more comfortable than downloading tarballs all the time. That's weird.I tried repo.or.cz/microdia.git too (just to check if it works) and git failed to download the sources. Seems this is a local issue.
