No but seriously, with my web designer hat on if you are concerned about accessibility issues or abuse of the abbr pattern this is something worth thinking about. <abbr title="PT3M23S"><span title="three minutes twenty three seconds"> 3m 23s </span></abbr> title distraction. I don't think there is any abuse of the abbr design pattern in the above example and it keeps machine data out of peoples faces.
