40000 gpm = 666 gpsecond = 2517 liter/sec = 2.517 m^2/sec

10 feet = 3.38 meter head

Power KW= 3.048 * 2.517 *9.81 = 75 KW

So your place by your word using all the water with 10 feet head you can get
around 75 KW,

HOW MUCH POWER DO YOU NEED ?????

Regards

Nando
