Further info,
Head about 50m. 150m of 4 inch pipe. Banki about 6 inch diameter 
Adjustable inlet up to about 3 inch width. Header tank 500 gallon. 
Power output 13.8V at 8A.  guess 2500rpm. All figures estimates.
In Winter runs continuously. In dry spells not enough water, so I 
wanted to automatically get intermittent full power, rather than no 
power. The generator self starts.
