I'm trying my darndest to install Midgard 1.2.5 on my server. The problem I
am running into is that when I rebuild the midgard-php module, using either
of the source RPM or the source tarball, the Apache httpd server will not
start. It dies quietly, without leaving a core dump or writing anything to
any log files.

On my first attempt to rebuild midgard-php I changed absolutely nothing from
the source RPM. I issued an 'rpm -bb midgard-php-1.2.5.spec' and let it do
it's thing. The I tried to restart my Apache server and it just dies
claiming it started 'ok' but never actually doing so. I then tried a
'/usr/sbin/httpd -X' (debug mode) and get a "Segmentation fault (core
dumped)". I'm not so proficient at analyzing core files...

When I use the stock midgard-php libphp3.so from the RPM, the server works
fine, Midgard works beautifully, but IMP fails at logon due to lack of IMAP
support.

What I'm _trying_ to do is get MySQL, IMAP and LDAP support. Obviously I
can't get those if I can't even build the thin version of the libphp3.so.
(I tried.)

Here's the rundown of what's involved in my installation:
Redhat 6.1 / Intel
RPM Installations of:
    Apache 1.3.9-8
    Apache Devel 1.3.9-8
    MySQL-client-3.22.32-1
    MySQL-shared-3.22.32-1
    MySQL-3.22.32-1
    MySQL-devel-3.22.32-1
    openldap-1.2.7-2
    openldap-devel-1.2.7-2
    php-ldap-3.0.12-6
    php-imap-3.0.12-6

And most importantly:
    midgard-lib-1.2.5-3
    mod_midgard-1.2.5-5
    midgard-php-1.2.5-8

Any help would be appreciated!

TIA,
