Following your advice I downloaded and installed the source RPMs for the
entire Midgard system. I went over to the /usr/src/redhat/SPECS directory
and put the original midgard-php-1.2.5.spec in place then I did:

rpm -bb mod_midgard-1.2.5.spec
and
rpm -bb midgard-php-1.2.5.spec

Everything compiled OK and installed files where expected. I noticed that
the install put a duplicate of the following lines in my httpd.conf:

LoadModule midgard_module modules/mod_midgard.so
LoadModule php3_module modules/libphp3.so

I removed the extras and tried to start the server with no success.

So I went one step further and rebuilt midgard-lib, mod_midgard and
midgard-php (in that order). I removed the extra loadmodule lines again and
still the server would not start.

What the heck am I doing wrong?
