We could. I personally can't recommend it, though; sorry. I know this
sounds simple enough but it's a slippery slope: every ad-hoc workaround we
add adds to the work we have when we move to a structural fix. It's
unfortunate the 'extra' fields are present in the first place IMHO. That
said, if there is support for adding more fields I won't stand in the way
of course.

No. I'm sorry but it's that simple. These fields are imported straight
from the database.

That's exactly what we need. There is no specific doc maintainer at the
moment, although Henri does most of the organizing for it. If you want to
you can post what you have to midgard or midgard-dev, we'll pick on some
technicalities for a while :) and get you write access to CVS.
