We have 4 port ethernet cards in our main AMD based router running MT. .
When we've swaped to new box, the restore doesn't always get it right.
Mostly due to whether or not onboard lan was enabled. The 4 port card is
always sequential, just sometimes not always at the beginning or end.
Winbox doesn't show the port number, but terminal screen does under /int
print. Helps me keep them straight after I've renamed them.

This is a common issue. The only "fix" is to rename the interfaces.
It is a problem that I know MT has been told about, but they did
not, could not or would not (take your pick) change the behaviour.
