I am asking how to route the /29 to some customers and be able to access the IP
from outside the network (remotely). I would like to have the public ip in the
clients' router or computer. My ISP gave me a full /29 (41.x.x.24/29). I did
not want to do a 1:1 NAT if I will be able to just give the customers Public
IPs in their routers.
What I have done so far in MikroTik
ip/addresses add=41.x.x.25/29 interface = hotspot interface
In customer pc:
IP=41.x.x.26 subnetmask=255.255.255.248 Gateway=41.x.x.25
With this setup I can access the internet on the PC but I cant ping it from
outside.
Any additional routing procedure needed?
So you have indirectly answered some of the questions I asked. It is
possible that you have failed to add the IP space to the hotspot
bindings, which will cause the hotspot to translate the customer's
41.x.x.x IP into a hotspot IP address. From that 41.x.x.x IP, what do
you see as the IP when you go to http://whatismyip.com/ ?
