If he needs a non-nat IP, then he has to be "on" the same network as his
gateway.  I've done this in the past with a PPtP tunnel, which may be a
solution.  Another possibility, if he has an MT router, would be EoIP to
get him "to" the public network directly.  You could do a vlan as well,
assuming his gear will support it.  There are a number of ways to make
that work, depending on the network layout.
