Oh, one more thought.  We also have a second PR732 in a different town
with a good UPS running the same firmware.  We have not seen the port
flap problems on it.

The configurations of the two routers are nearly identical.  They both
have their Ethernets connected to one Netgear switch at each location.
The switches are the same model.
