MD is already available through Dag's repository, the packages are just a bit behind current version. But I would like to see MD being part of Fedora Extras. I have a good connection to Axel Thimm (ATrpms.net) - he asked me to join his packager team. I'll think over this topic.
Take a look at Dag's spec file:

'Twould be a good idea to merge this with the existing MD spec file in the tarball.
