The wild west is not at an end. Hell, come to Arizona. It's still a shoot-em-up state. The wild west exists in Arizona. There's enough guns in this state to outfit a large militia ... maybe even more than in Texas. The common tone out here is that if you shoot someone, drag his (or her) body into the desert and let the coyotes eat the evidence. We've even got a sheriff that models himself after Wyatt Earp .. who made his big rep in Tombstone, Arizona. But Sheriff Joe works out of Maricopa County ... which is mostly Phoenix ... where he regularly raids adjoining towns and cities with no notice to the local cops. Run the name Sheriff Joe Arpiao in Google or read Wiki's take on him: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Arpaio ... And lets not forget good old Tim McVeigh ... he's the one who blew up the Federal building in Oklahoma a few years ago. Tested his bombs with his partner Nichols right out back here in the Kingman area. (That's where I live.)
