The phrase I remember from high school sports(most notably basketball)is "If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin'. I reckon it carries over to the bigs. Another one is "Winning isn't everything, it's the ONLY thing." Not exactly rules to live by but it does seem to serve some folks rather well. Just don't get caught.
