Competition and cheating are two very adolescent behaviors.  Who among
us has not indulged (hopefully at the age appropriate time.)  Are we
holding celebrities to a higher standard because we think they are
superhuman, pulling in those bigger paychecks and all that attention?
Cheating is an interesting topic and somewhat slippery, like truth.
If steroidal use is an industry standard, then getting caught is the
real problem, no?  I would also suggest that the culture was somewhat
different during 2003, on the topic of steroids.  More use, less
violation.
