It's not about the competition anymore, that being my point, it's all
about the ego of the individual.

A Rod states "I"wanted to prove to everyone that "I" was worth being
one of the greatest players of all time.

The individual doesn't take steroids so the "Team" can be the greatest
team but only so the individual can be the greatest.

The endorsements, the photo on the front of the cereal box, the
autographs, the FAME! (I'm gonna live forever)
