If you're interest in Darwin and his voyage on the Beagle, I can highly recommend the novel 'This Thing Of Darkness'. It a historical novel and follows Darwin from when he finishes university, through to his voyage and exploration of the Galapagos and South American, to what happened when he returned to England.
