You are touching upon a crux most overlooked, that being "living in harmony with everything and all that is". This is the where purpose gets lost amongst humanity and the realization of purpose gets obscured. People can't see purpose because we are not living in harmony with all things. We are too busy amassing fortunes and climbing economic ladders in a world where everything is there for free just as it was in the beginning. We corrupted and therefore lost purpose and as you say, Molly, have moved over to the other side of the spectrum, out of reach and out of touch. Arch would suffer the soul for the sake of the scroungers who are simply the refuse of a system that is corrosive to acknowledgment and advancement of the soul. Quality of life is not recognized as that of soul compatibility but as a resultant of financial gain and greed. Until we as a collective consciousness return to the garden, there can be no quality of life, which seems to continually diminish each year, despite technological advances. We are in fact plagued by wars, disease, pollution, corruption and greed, to name a few. We can in individual terms accomplish a state of consciousness that is conducive to a quality life. Occasionally I have opportunity to challenge a person's personal belief or degree of soul recognition, usually during a situation where there is something they are selling and at a point, through observation, I see that they are involved with or purport to be spiritually oriented. During conversation I offer, "If you really want to do something that will enrich your soul, you will just give it to me". Some just laugh but others will see the seriousness in my expression and actually think about it before laughing. I'll toss in confirmation queries like "You do believe you have a soul, right?" Still, there is no real connection as they are so "locked in" to the concepts of this world and what they have learned to understand as achievement, accomplishment, and success. There have been those people that do give items away without my encouragement and perhaps they are already aware of the personal benefits associated with giving. The others reveal to me the superficiality of their religious affiliation, probably based on the need to belong to something or peer group inclinations. Of course, this all based on one's belief in the soul, which we in Minds Eye have in several threads dissected the theory, supposition and possibility of it's existence.
