Evil. I’ve argued with Rosey about saying men are evil. It’s too easy an excuse to go kill somebody.
What I do think is Evil is a product of man, not some devious force or that born in sin crap. The actions of men, the ‘Way it is Now’ in Society allows for the creation of an entity of Evil. Oppressive government and corporate greed are two examples of Evil that is simply the product of man. I know there are a lot of people who would read that and say, “Yea, I’m glad I live in the U.S.”; I hang my head and cry. Government is the many headed beast of Revelations and the U.S. is the main brain. I believe it safe to say that 90% of the people in the U.S. (probably more in the rest of the world) are good humanitarian people. Today, how many innocent people will die at the hands of U.S. forces, hundreds, maybe a thousand or more? I know we only hear about those that they are not able to keep hidden from the media. Although the people don’t condone the action they are the support of the system. This is the manifestation of Evil as the product of man. Why?, because we are going the ‘Wrong Way’. To turn inward is wonderful and fine for the self improvement of the individual. That it allows escapism from reality, the results of our supportive action, and allows for the Evil to be done in our name, is Wrong. “I’m improving myself; it’s all I can do; it’s not my fault.” No fault, it is the ‘Way’ of Society that we need to change. I believe the power we access by turning inward, to improve ourselves, must be recognized in another way to improve the lot of mankind and stop our creating Evil. We turn in to access our higher power, collective intelligence or whichever of hundreds of different explanations we choose for the one thing on Earth that all of mankind have in common. Me Me Mine! It’s my personal spirit! It’s my Love! No, it’s Brahman! Oh you fools, it’s the spirit of Jesus Christ! You mystical muff heads, it’s nothing but a funny feeling caused by our subconscious. It is a ‘thing’ in our mind.
