I read both articles including the one Don submitted. I never thought of it to now, but when I moved to the Netherlands to join my wife I knew it would be a hidden political asylum, and I have always joked about it. This article brought about up a puzzling question. When I boarded the airplane to come over here it was long before September 11th, I triggered the metal detectors at the boarding area, These were normal anti hijacking measures. I went through the usual empty your pocket etc and after a hand wand search I removed my boots and then went through on the 8th time no alarm. It turned out there was a metal shank in my boots that was triggering the alarm. Now this was at the airport in Bozeman MT which is not a major air traffic hub or anywhere near the concept, just a small regional airport.
With airport security that tight before the 11th of September, how did those guys get on the airplane to begin with? There are to many shadow parts of the US Government. I know all to well. There is a real possibility it could be true and the man telling the truth, As for Jail house confessions, in my opinion they leave massive amounts to be desired as to their being valid..
