It must be done- especially raising children. There are hundreds of social rules we must abide by. The rebel inside might act out but usually at a price. Probably one advantage of getting older is redefining your life- it might be greater steps into the world or a retreat into a world of your own design, but still there are obligations- to obey the law, pay taxes, treat others and self with respect, etc.
