I do have knowledge of it because of experiences/groups. Ironically, the impact of my parent's divorce and my father's death forced me to distance myself- created a buffer zone, so to speak- and I could- sometimes painfully- choose be myself and not a type. I think I can honestly say I am very down-to-earth and have handled myself well through fortune and misfortune.//Ten year old boys called me a "rich bitch" because I was away at boarding school or camp and had a killer bicycle- yet gave up and liked me- I became the Nancy Drew of their Hardy Boys dectective club. And J. mentioned a few years back that he thought I was "spoiled" in highschool but he judged me superficially and had no idea of what was going on. As for social cliques, I am too independent to fit in for long.// I do seem to have an "air" about me gliding about- my daughter once said I would never meet the right guy because I looked so unapproachable yet blushes when I break out to the music at the Banana Republic!// I am the woman blue collar guys tell their troubles to, white collar guys confess to, clerks know me by name and shoppers brighten to a wisecrack or helpfulness.//I did okay! Thank you, God.
