D - thank you very much. I'm flattered. Yes, I have thought about
things, maybe even as much as many of those who post to this site.
Many years ago I read Fulgram's Everything I Need to Know I Learned in
Kindergarten. In its preface, Fulgram mentions that every few years he
tried to write down what he really believed. I thought this was a
great idea, and tried it. Very unsatisfying, so a while later I tried
it again, and repeated the effort every few years thereafter. I urge
you try it. More recently I wrote and self-published a book, Leap of
Reason (available on Amazon) that trys to answer the ultimate
questions - who are we, why are we here, what happens at death, is
there a God, etc. It sort of brings together where I got in my
personal belief statements and its application to the ultimate
questions that have long puzzled our ancestors, and us too. The first
thing I posted here was titled "Ultimate Questions." I don't know if
it is still available, but you might check out that thread. Jim
