I can understand your shopping- my parents survived the Great Depression which struck fear in that generation- they never forgot it either. I have had a range of economic circumstances and feel the poor times were the most creative. I certainly decided that stuff did not bring happiness or contentment. I did binge on toys for the two youngest like I was setting up a kingdom- my daughter and sons have handed them down to their children and it was interesting to hear my daughter today comment on books and some German games and puzzles that her daughter is now enjoying- it brings back her memories and mine.// I like "just enough".
