You missed one essential element of a previous point and that is why
you say "we choose, or not, self awareness and.............etc.   I
disagree with that as my contention is that most people, the majority
don't have a clue what self awareness is.  I've talked to many,
countless people about introspection, the self, the shadow only to
view the tilted head, the wrinkled brow and the contorted facial
expression that say, "Huh?".  If you could shift the conversation and
the view away from you and I.
