We've had numerous exchanges you and I concerning dreams, I was most
intrigued by your ability to revisit lucid dreams.
You stated..........
"With the rational mind stepping aside as it does, possibility opens
wide. Lucid dreaming leads the way to creative dreaming - meaning
that once you can return to a lucid dream state at will, you realize
that the dream is anything you want it to be and the dream state
becomes your canvass."
I found this to be very intriguing and somewhat the premiss of the
movie "Dreamscape", though I've not been able to achieve that level of
dreaming. Still, as you know of some of my dreams they can be very
powerful.
You said that the dream state and the dream experience are not just a
part of your subconscious but a more important and substantial part of
your being.
You stated...........
"If you take a contemplation into sleep, and also contemplate it in
the first moments of waking - if you do this for long enough, you will
discover not only what you are contemplating, but the processes of
discovery. In this way you recover parts of yourself - like a puzzle
that completes itself as you live life with heart and soul."
This is definitely integrating the dream realm with the conscious
state. I'm wondering if there is a correlation to the Freudian
concept of disclosing parts of the self and the repressed parts of the
self. Let's not forget the repression of shadow traits in Jungs
theory.
In the op I did mention the aspect of time in this dimension so I'm
now also wondering about time in dreams. If you are returning to a
lucid dream as you say, what is the time element? Obviously if we are
experiencing a lucid dream at different time within our world, let's
say one in June and the same dream in March of the following year,
then the actual setting of the dream itself has no established time
line. Could it be that the dream is taking place in the past, in the
future?

So is quantum travel validated in the dream state, which may or may
not occur in a cosmic dimension as portrayed by various quantum and
string theories? With the numerous variations in these principles it
is hardly possible to pinpoint anything exacting, therefore much of it
remains as hypothetical as quantum travel itself. In threads like
these it is often advantageous to have those who have better insight
into the intricacies involved. Einsteins geometric interpretation of
gravitation which is the basis of his theory of relativity and other
cosmological principles do not really have much substance for me to
work with when trying to create a synthesis with dreams and quantum
travel. Perhaps Pat Harrington could put it together better,
theoretically speaking. I guess he's working on his book. I'm just
a simple man who is lucky to have survived Woodstock.
