A little from colunm A and a little from colunm B I would say. I was brought up racist but rebeled against that particular teaching when I was old enough to start questioning why.
My father was on the reciving end of a bloody good stabbing when I was 16 years old, I carried him from the blokes front gate to my home 4 or 5 doors away, I'll never forget that episode. In a real way I saved my dad's life as he saved mine years before, a 'friend' of mine at the time(and remember this was 1985 right in the middle of race riots etc in London) asked me don't you hate them now? I said no, why should I, that bloke could have been white. Anyhoo he and I were not freinds long after that.
