well they can be trained to be a good mouser and keep you house rodent
free..

and they do have an acute sense of smell,, so why could they not be trained
as a drug cat? or a cadaver cat? Look how easily the can slip into small
spaces..  maybe rig a transponder they can detach near the corpse or near a
person trapped in rubble?  I think cat owners simply really don't want to
train their cats..   and what good is s dog that rolls over  or are dogs
trained to a litter box?
