We need a revolution, but it's long been the case that we've known one cruelty is not made better by its replacement by another. Much that Che said was also said by right wing bastards in Chile and terror of any kind hardly withers away. I have come to feel that spreadsheets fundamentally guide our leaderships and that we need these opened-up to have a revolution in terms of understanding how decisions are made and who can make them. This would be too boring for Che, as would the whole notion of getting rid of leaders in order that we can lead ourselves. Che at least managed to die himself, something many who suggest we all commit ourselves to death for glorious posterity usually fail to do. I tend to trust the revolutionary who is in it for a pair of shoes and to send money home to his mother.
