Just to show how far out of touch I am, I didn't realized that President Obama was awarded the peace prize, I just thought they were nominating people for it. When I realize it is true , I would like to congratulate him and the Nobel committee. It takes a lot of courage to stand up for peace and what is right.
It took a lot of courage for the Nobel committee to take a stand in the present and say we are standing for peace to day, and we are using the prestige of the Nobel Peace Prize to bring about peace now,, not just recognising the efforts of the past. My congratulation to the Nobel Peace Prize Committee for taking a stand for peace today.
