Hah it does seem that you have rubbed some peope up the wrong way, not me though sir, you do come accross as a tad paroniod, perhaps that is your nature, perhaps it is merely the normal jitteryness on joining a 'new club', I guess time will tell.
As to breaking decrum, no I think not, rarely does any exhange here stick rigidly to the question asked or topic possed, the flow of debate here generaly sticks close to the topic and comes and goes as it does, so do not worry about that.
