Not necessarily. "God's understanding" need only be 'All- encompassing', that is, He understands all there there is TO understand. There is no need for Him to understand those things which will never exist. So, whilst I believe completely that He has perfect understanding, it may not, technically, be 'infinite'. For example, God does NOT comprehend and/or acknowledge any other entity as His co- equal. No 'other' could be omnipotent, as the universe cannot have two omnipotent entities. Whilst it may be said that He understands this concept, He does NOT understand any other entity as being His co- equal. It is for that very reason that He has guided us to not acknowledge any other entity as being God other than Him, as logic dictates that there can only be one True God, i.e., only one entity that is omnipresent, omnipotent and omniscient.
