Two main topics of note here for me.

First this lovely presentation:

>> I am this organism and was born, will live and die. Whatever I think ,
>> feel and do is controlled by Nature , within me , and outside me. I
>> feel free because I am part of that Nature.

I agree with Ash about the simplicity and the clarity when judgment
and struggle [of all types] are refocused upon compassion and
understanding. (Ash’s words almost exclusively here.) Then s/he adds
this: “Free is a good word for that.” which I do not disagree with at
all either.

What I see here is a fairly new insight I’ve gained through my School
and that is that there are two distinct ways. Yes, ultimately they are
one, however for analysis they must remain distinct.

The first is the way of the book, faith in salvation etc. and all that
this path involves.

The second is the way of knowledge. And, I strongly sense that what is
being discussed here now by the above presentation falls within this
second way.

Both exist. Both are essential.

The second area of interest for me here is the notion of relative and
absolute…something that I’ve addressed on occasion since I first
became a member here at ME more than 5 years ago.

Molly pointed to this distinction while addressing the truth or Truth
of the above contemplation…and accurately so too!

That which changes IS relative truth. And that which does not change
is absolute Truth.

This distinction may appear to be simple and even too simple perhaps.
Ultimately, it IS simple. . . and ultimately, the relative and
absolute unite consubstantially into one.

This is being attended to by Pat, gabby, Slip and even gruff in his
observations along by all of us as we add to this amalgamation.

While statements appear to be contradictory, in fact, we ARE all one.
