Yes, I do recognize it as being the name of continents (North and South); however, all too many citizens of the USA apply the term to the US alone. And, of course, if you are talking about pre US days…I guess I’ve entirely missed whatever your point is. Yes, kings, queens and investors financed most travel (and art and almost everything) in the 1600s. I just don’t see what this has to do with corporations!
