Molly is probably right on this one RP. I have reason to know Pat had his problems as I did a little to help some years back. I saw no attack in what you said and am a bit concerned about the clamour against it, but we have better things to talk about. Paranoid narcissism may be at the heart of much art and there are substantial diagnoses of such in art criticism. indeed, in anthropology, whole civilisations have been diagnosed as schizophrenic (the Dobu spring to mind). Character is probably mostly false, as we repeatedly discover with politicians. If you had said the same things about me I would have taken it as advice. Yet I like the idea of moving on.
