Zombies?  Has someone dragged me back into undergraduate teaching while I 
wasn't looking?  This implies a metacognitive deficiency in self-correction 
by evidence.  What advantages does this have in evolutionary terms?  One 
would guess none though this seems contradicted by shuffling groups of 
students passing in and out of university gates of excellence to join the 
Ant Tribe at a subsistence level just below student loan repayment.
