I think there is no problem in that.
You haven't run the mip6d in background and so you didn't get the prompt I
think.
Just try moving to foreign network and see if MN is able to do the mipv6
procedures such as

Sending Binding Update to HA
Getting Binding acknowledgement etc.

Regards,
Surekha.

Subject: [mipl] Mobile IPv6, Linux 2.6 (MN), FreeBSD (HA)

Hello,

I'm trying to test that the Mobile Node (Linux 2.6.15)
can reach the Home Agent (FreeBSD 5.4).

The first thing I've done is:

$sudo mip6d -c mn.conf

I've got:
...
conf_home_addr_info: HoA address
2001:660:3203:1012:203:47ff:fefb:1fd
conf_home_addr_info: HA address

__md_discover_router: discover link on iface eth0 (1)
md_change_default_router: add new router
fe80:0:0:0:210:5aff:fe48:1c5 on interface eth0 (1)

Here messages have stopped and I've got no prompt $.

I can't understand the last messages I've got.

Can somebody help please!

Thanks and regards,

Sondes
