Benjamin, I am very interested in your results of testing with the Debian distribution. For your info:
I am using Debian stable (sarge). The kernel is native 2.6.15.6 from kernel.org+the MIPL patch, built from scratch. I have the same problems on Ubuntu 5.10, but as this is Debian based I am not surprised.
