Self hosters can send to my gmail account: I read from time to time the spam folder in gmail. The problem you mention is not existent. But if I send from my server to a gmail account, there is the risk that the recipient do not see the spam folder and my mail be ignored. Recommending not to use gmail or applemail is sure a very good thing, but does not solve the problem, thousands of millions of possible recipients will still use them. Rodrigo
